How Much Does SEO Cost in Pakistan? 2026 Pricing Guide

What does SEO cost in Pakistan in 2026? Real monthly ranges for freelancers and agencies, what each level includes, and the red flags that mark a quote as a trap.

The SEO cost in Pakistan depends on who does the work and how competitive your market is. In 2026, most businesses pay anywhere from about PKR 25,000 to PKR 250,000+ per month. A competent freelancer typically charges PKR 25,000–50,000 per month, a proper agency retainer for a small-to-mid-size business usually lands between PKR 50,000 and PKR 120,000 per month, and competitive national or e-commerce campaigns run PKR 130,000–250,000+ per month. Below about PKR 20,000 a month, you are almost never buying SEO: you are buying automated submissions and spam risk. This guide breaks down what drives the price, what each level actually includes, and how to tell a fair quote from a trap.

SEO Pricing in Pakistan: 2026 Cost Ranges at a Glance

SEO pricing — two professionals reviewing a printed SEO proposal
ProviderTypical monthly cost (PKR)Best for
Budget freelancer / “package” seller5,000 – 20,000Nobody, honestly (see the red flags below)
Competent freelancer25,000 – 50,000Single-location local businesses, small sites
Agency: local / starter retainer40,000 – 80,000Local services, clinics, shops, small companies
Agency: growth retainer55,000 – 120,000Growing businesses, content + links included
Agency: competitive / national130,000 – 250,000+E-commerce, national brands, tough niches
In-house SEO hireOne full-time salary, plus tools and content costsCompanies with steady, large-scale content needs

These SEO pricing ranges come from published 2026 pricing guides, and they are deliberately wide, because “SEO” at PKR 40,000 and “SEO” at PKR 140,000 are different products that happen to share a name. The agency tiers also overlap on purpose: what separates a starter retainer from a growth retainer is scope, mainly how much content creation and link building is included, not the label on the package.

What Actually Drives the Price?

Two websites paying the same fee can need completely different work. Honest providers price these factors:

  • Competition. Ranking a plumber in Rawalpindi and ranking a national e-commerce store are different sports — stronger competitors mean more content, links and time.
  • Your starting point. A site with broken indexing and a spammy link history costs more to fix before growth work begins. A clean, small site is cheaper to move.
  • Number of pages and keywords. Optimizing 10 service pages is a project; optimizing 2,000 product pages is a program.
  • Content requirements. If rankings need fresh articles and landing pages every month, writers’ time is a real line item, or should be.
  • Link building done properly. Earning a handful of relevant, editorial links costs more than blasting a thousand directory submissions, and only one of those survives a Google update.
  • Reporting and communication. A monthly report you can understand and a human who answers questions are part of the product, not overhead.

If a quote seems cheap, one of these items is missing. Ask which one.

What’s Included at Each Level?

Freelancer Level (PKR 25,000–50,000/month)

Expect keyword research for a small keyword set, on-page fixes (titles, headings, internal links), basic Google Business Profile work, and a simple monthly report. Link building, if any, is light. Good value for a single-location business, as long as the freelancer is competent and not running the same package for forty clients at once.

Agency Starter / Local Level (PKR 40,000–80,000/month)

Adds a technical audit with the fixes implemented, structured on-page work, GBP management, citation cleanup, and clearer reporting. At SEO Agency ISB, engagements at this level are scoped after a free audit, so deliverables are written down before you pay.

Growth Level (PKR 55,000–120,000/month)

Content enters the retainer: planned articles and landing pages monthly, ongoing technical monitoring, and white-hat link building with named placements. This is the level most growing SMEs actually need: enough hours to move rankings, not just maintain them.

Competitive / Enterprise Level (PKR 130,000–250,000+/month)

National keywords, large e-commerce catalogs, digital PR, multiple locations or markets. The fee buys a team (strategist, writer, developer, outreach) working in parallel.

In-House: The Option Nobody Prices Honestly

Hiring in-house looks cheaper until you cost it fully: a salary for even one experienced SEO, plus a writer, plus developer time, plus tools, plus the management time to run them. For most SMEs, a full in-house setup costs more monthly than a growth-level agency retainer, and one person cannot be a strategist, writer, developer and link builder at once. In-house makes sense at large scale, with a big content engine to feed.

Red Flags: Cheap SEO and Guarantees

  • “Guaranteed #1 ranking.” Nobody can guarantee this — Google says so in its own SEO starter guide. A guarantee is either a lie or a plan to rank you for keywords nobody searches.
  • PKR 5,000–20,000 “full SEO packages.” At this price the only profitable method is automation: spun content, link farms, directory blasts. These can trigger penalties that take six months or more to clean up, far more than the package saved.
  • No audit before quoting. A provider who prices your site without looking at it is selling a template, not a service.
  • Secret methods. “We can’t reveal our techniques” means the techniques would embarrass them. Everything legitimate follows Google’s published Search Essentials, and all of it can be explained in plain language.
  • Long lock-in contracts with no deliverables list. Insist on knowing what ships each month, and what you keep if you leave.

How Our Pricing Works at SEO Agency ISB

We do not sell fixed packages off a shelf, because the audit always finds something the shelf did not expect. We start with a free visibility audit of your website and Google Business Profile, tell you plainly what is holding you back, then quote a custom monthly retainer based on your market, your starting point and deliverables agreed in writing. Retainers are month-to-month, with no long lock-in, and you own your website, content, analytics and profiles from day one. If we stop earning the fee, you can stop paying it. Our pricing page puts the retainer tiers side by side, so you can see exactly what changes as the budget grows.

FAQs

Is PKR 30,000 a month enough for SEO?

For a small local business in a low-competition niche, yes — a competent freelancer or starter retainer at that level can cover on-page work, local SEO and GBP management properly. For a competitive or national market, it buys maintenance, not movement. The audit should tell you which situation you are in before you spend anything.

Why do agencies quote such different prices for “SEO”?

Because the word covers wildly different amounts of work. One quote includes a strategist, a writer and real link building; another includes a monthly PDF report and automated submissions. Compare deliverables lists, not headline prices, and ask what happens in a typical month, in writing.

How long before SEO pays for itself?

Plan on three to six months before meaningful movement in rankings and inquiries, and nine to twelve months for full return in competitive markets. Any provider promising page one in 30 days is selling you the red flags listed above.
